Bio -
Christine Anderson, PT is a therapist with M Health Fairview Sports and Orthopedics at Elk River Location.  She is a diplomaed therapist through McKenzie Institute, USA since 2006, and has been a fellow with the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy since 2015. 
 
Course summary:
The McKenzie Method is a biopsychosocial system of musculoskeletal care emphasizing patient empowerment emphasizing patient empowerment and self-treatment. 
This system of diagnosis and patient management applies to acute, subacute, and chronic conditions of the spine and extremities.  It offers a reliable and practical approach to patient care.
 
Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, the attendee should be able to:
  • Recognize red flags which can assist with proper patient management when indicated.
  • Knowledge of basic understanding of mechanical diagnosis and therapy.
  • Aware of, the classifications of derangement to utilize the concepts during your patient care.
  • Determine when a patient should seek outpatient PT services upon their discharge from hospital.
